You're probably asking yourself what 'The Robinosities of Robin' are. Well,... long, long ago in a far, but not so far, away land called high school, one of my friends made up the phrase to define all of the 'inexplicable' quirks of my personality. The second question in your head may well be, 'What is Robinosities as far as what you see here?' My answering that question would make the term 'Robinosities', itself, unnecessary. In case you have not deducted thus far, my name is Robin. I'm originally from upstate NY and have since lived and worked in Jamaica, London, and NYC. I began sewing at a very young age and have continued to manipulate its creative possibilities since that time. Photography came into my life quite accidentally, as one of my degrees metamorphosed from Ceramic Sculpture to Sculptural Costume/ Clothing Design, and finally landed on Photography. Among other things, I am a dancer, choreographer, and candlestick maker. (ok, so I don't make candles, but the rest is true) Robinosities is one element of where it all comes together and makes sense to me. Hopefully it does to you visually, if in no other way.
